Mel served as DBAC's only President for over 40 years. His leadership of the organization was instrumental to its success. DBAC accomplished a great deal over the years in promoting residential and business development.
Mel will be greatly missed.

The Great Allegheny Passage Runs Through Duquesne and McKeesport
In 2013 the last section of the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) was completed. It is a 328-mile trail linking McKeesport and Duquesne, to Pittsburgh, and then all the way to Washington, D.C. The trail enables bicyclists and walkers to travel on it from here to Washington, D.C. The trail took 35 years to complete. An alliance of trail groups, business and local, State and Federal representatives worked together to bring about the completion of the trail.
